Refund policy

We want you (and your little ones) to absolutely love everything you receive from Hello Buttercup. If something’s not quite right, we’re here to help.

Returns & Exchanges Policy

  • Full-priced items can be returned for store credit or exchange

  • Sale items are final sale, but sale clothing & accessories may be exchanged for another size or product (if available)

  • All returns must be requested within 14 days of receiving your order

  • Items must be unworn, unused, with tags and in original packaging

  • For hygiene reasons, returns on swimwear and intimates may not be accepted

  • Return postage is at the buyer’s expense

How to Request a Return or Exchange

  1. Email us at hello@hellobuttercup.com.au within 14 days of receiving your order

  2. Include your order number, reason for return/exchange, and proof of purchase

  3. Wait for our reply before sending your item—unapproved returns will not be accepted

  4. Once approved, return your item using a trackable shipping method

  5. We’ll process your store credit or exchange within 7 business days of receiving your return

Store Credit & Exchanges

  • Store credits are sent via email and can be used anytime

  • Exchanges are shipped once we’ve received and inspected your return

Faulty or Damaged Items

We quality-check everything with love, but if something arrives damaged or faulty:

  1. Email us at hello@hellobuttercup.com.au with your order number and a description (plus photos if you can)

  2. We’ll assess your request and let you know next steps

  3. If approved, we’ll send you a prepaid return shipping label

  4. You can choose a full refund or replacement item
